Stewie - TX
Stewie is a 9 month old Carolina Dog mix, pulled from a Texas shelter on his euthanasia date. He is being fostered in Texas, but a virtual meet and greet is available, where you can see him interact with his surroundings and ask the foster questions. Transport is available for his perfect home. We just ask that if he doesn't work out, that you continue to foster him until a new home is found.
We are still learning about him, but the volunteers at the shelter say he was a little stressed at the noisy kennel environment. That is understandable, as he had no idea of his fate. That makes him incredibly smart. He is a little slow to warm up and take treats, and avoids other dogs that bark at him or act aggressive towards him. He is looking for the new love of his life, who he can learn to trust.
Stewie is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped.
