Giving with Kroger Community
Kroger, the grocery chain, has a program called Kroger Community, in which nonprofit organizations can register to receive a portion of Kroger profits quarterly to continue their mission. Carolina Dogs Matter is registered as a nonprofit beneficiary with Kroger Community. It is of no extra cost to the customer, and the earnings are accumulated by swiping your Kroger card when you shop.
To set it up, follow the instructions below:
- A digital account is needed to participate in Kroger Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, simply link your shopper's card to your account so that all transactions apply toward Carolina Dogs Matter.
- Sign into your digital account at kroger.com. Click on My Account in the top right corner under your name.
- Scroll towards the bottom of that screen and select View Community Rewards.
- Search for the organization called Carolina Dogs, and you will see Carolina Dogs Matter. Save your selection.
- Your selected organization will also display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always do so under your account details.
