Star
If you are looking for next love of your life, Star is your girl. Star was scheduled to be euthanized in a Texas shelter on April 5, 2024, when CDM retrieved her to safety. She is a Carolina Dog mix, around 56 pounds, spayed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped. She is a very affectionate, loving dog, and friendly to kind faces. She interacts and plays well with other dogs; large and small dogs alike. She does play hard, but not aggressively. She can run with the boys, and is as tuff as they are. She walks well on the leash, and learning some of the basic commands.
Her morning routine includes kissing and grooming her pack. She is very mellow when alone with her human, loves car rides, and always remains close.
Star is not a barker or biter. She shows no food aggression, but she is a toy thief. All of the toys belong to her in her mind. She is house trained, and does not seem to be reactive to cats, however further cat testing will be conducted.
